Coastal walks are my favourite and a recent trip to Dunure Castle on a really cold still day inspired this painting. The flowers in the bottom were a wonderful contrast to the very angular rocky parts of the painting, offering some life on such a deserted day.
Painted using a limited colour palette of acrylic paints, on a paper with a satin finish.
Paper measures 51cmx40cm (and is supplied unframed).
